BlueMetal Announces New Executive Roles

Organization continues its focus on helping clients succeed to drive strong growth.

WATERTOWN, Mass., Jan. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — BlueMetal today announced changes in responsibilities among its senior management team, effective immediately. The changes will create more client-facing capacity within the company to provide an improved experience to its existing client base, to strengthen its partnerships, and to position the company for continued growth.

Scott Jamison will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. Scott came to BlueMetal as the founder of Jornata, which merged with BlueMetal in September 2014. Since the merger, he has held the role of President of RedMetal, BlueMetal's sister company, focused on innovation and product development. In his role as CEO of BlueMetal, Scott will be dedicated to building external relationships with clients and coordinating the firm's sales and delivery capabilities.

Liam Spaeth will assume the role of President. Liam founded BlueMetal in 2010 and has held leadership positions at both BlueMetal and RedMetal since the inception of those companies. In his role as President, Liam will be dedicated to ensuring excellence in the delivery of BlueMetal's services across the company's five technology practice areas and three locations.

Craig Dillon will assume the role of Chief Client Officer. Since 2011, Craig has played a vital role in the development and execution of the company's business strategy and success. In his new role, he will be dedicated to the client experience, leading the Sales, Marketing, and Partner functions at BlueMetal.

"The shift in roles reflects our alignment to our clients and our growth as a company," Craig said. "We will continue to focus strongly on our clients' needs and to deliver innovation through our offerings and intellectual capital."

Sadie Van Buren will assume the role of Director of Strategic Alliances. Since 2012, Sadie has been responsible for the strategy and execution of BlueMetal's brand, marketing, communications, partnerships, and the individual brands of its people. In her new role, she will concentrate on maximizing the value of the company's partner relationships and managing the full partner lifecycle.

"These new roles bring a clear focus to the executive team, preparing BlueMetal for the next phase of growth for the company, and streamlining our ability to support and service our clients," said Liam Spaeth. "Our leaders have strong experience in their areas, and more importantly, they bring vision and passion to their roles that will propel BlueMetal to even greater growth and performance."
