BlueMetal recognized as finalist for two 2015 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards

The company will take home finalist awards for both Intelligent Systems and Collaboration and Content at this year's Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.

WATERTOWN, Mass., U.S.A. — June 2, 2015 — BlueMetal today announced it has been named a finalist in the 2015 Microsoft Intelligent Systems Partner of the Year Award, as well as in the 2015 Microsoft Collaboration and Content Partner of the Year Award. The company was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

“This is a great honor for us,” said Scott Jamison, CEO at BlueMetal. “Attaining finalist status on not one, but two, Microsoft Partner of the Year awards reflects the outstanding work our team has accomplished together with our clients.” Awards were presented in several categories, with winners chosen from a set of more than 2,300 entrants from 108 different countries worldwide. BlueMetal was recognized for providing outstanding solutions and services in both Intelligent Systems and Collaboration and Content.

The Intelligent Systems Partner of the Year Award recognizes a partner that has developed, designed, and deployed Internet of Things (IoT) solutions with their Enterprise customers. An Intelligent Systems solution unlocks the potential of the machine-to-machine data from cloud connected devices and sensors. These solutions connect the devices and line-of-business assets to capture and analyze machine generated data, helping customers realize greater operational intelligence, improved end-customer experiences, new business insights, and increased customer value.

The Collaboration and Content Partner of the Year Award recognizes an exceptional partner who excels in providing their customers solutions built on the SharePoint platform.

“This year’s award winners are among the most innovative and valuable our partner ecosystem has to offer. Therefore, it came as no surprise that BlueMetal was named among that group as this year’s finalist of the 2015 Microsoft Intelligent Systems and Collaboration and Content awards,” said Phil Sorgen, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group, Microsoft Corp. “We applaud BlueMetal on this achievement and for the outstanding value it continues to provide for our mutual customers.”

The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the past year.
